The Long Route

Photo courtesy: © google.com There is a popular, trending cliché which has crept into everywhere, including our faith in Christ. The cliché is “There is no time”. We are in a dispensation of quick-quick syndrome. Without much effort and at the shortest possible time, people are desperate and desire to get things done at the snap of their fingers. The Scriptures say, “When the king of Egypt let the people go, God did not take them by the road that goes up the coast to Philistia, although it was the shortest way. God thought, ‘I do not want the people to change their minds and return to Egypt when they see that they are going to fight’ Exodus 13:17” Good News Bible. The shortest route to your destination (Promised Land) may NOT always be the safest in fulfilling life purpose.
