THE POWER OF FOCUS
Do you know that your eyes has direct link with your mind? In fact, while eyes are the eyes of the physical body, our minds are the eyes of the subconscious life. So, both eyes can determine how focused you are. There are divers things that are in the world to divert and distract our attentions from pursuing a positive, godly and life-rewarding goals. Among these things may be fame, poverty, riches, education, wife, husband, children, parents, friends, relatives, acquaintances, foes, economic situation, sicknesses, diseases, fears, past victories, loneliness, environment, daily work, present enjoyments and others. Each of these factors depends on individual and the goals we set to achieve. But one thing we should understand is that life does not give anything free. There is always a price to pay for every excellent achievement of goal. Can I ask that what are your present goals and the strategies to achieve them? Have you started achieving them?
From my own story, after I graduated from College of Education some years ago, I determined in my heart that I would not stop there. I worked for some years, obtained University form to have first degree certificate. Thank God I gained admission, finished the course and had my first degree thereby fulfilling my childhood dream. However, there are alternatives forgone that i had to let go.

Friends, do not sacrifice the ultimate of your life on the altar of immediate.While others are progressing and moving forward to achieve their goals, you should personally determine in your heart to go forward too. God has not created emptiness or chaos rather He has created you to occupy other beautiful things He created. Therefore, what is your position now? Are occupying things or you are being occupied by things? If you are being occupied by things that is distraction and it is not God's will for you. Paul said, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus".Phil 3:12-14 (NIV)

1. Seek the Almighty God personally
2. Study God's Word (The Bible) to find out his plans for you.
3. Take some time for meditation and prayers
4. Check circles of people around your life. Are they also progressing or not?
5. Find out more information concerning your dreams maybe through reading book or travelling, attending programmes and many more.
The Lord who has started good things in You will finish in Jesus name. The Grace of God is still available for you.
